Our class blog is like dead, so i'm here to update it.
Just watched Ms Chen's video again,
really touching right?
I always say our class is not the most united, since we're all into cliques.
I take that back in a way, since we are bonded.
Like how many birthday celebs have we had?
How many times have we smashed , played, eaten cakes?
How many class pics have we taken?
Many right, compared to other classes.
So actually our class is really most bonded to me ((:
Thank you all for giving me such awesome memories of sec 1 life,
next we're together again (Y) but its not confirmed ms chen will.
But we all still love her right?
Can't wait for class chalet, hope we get the class tee soon, me want it.
So how will you all be spending your hols?
I'm gg to stay in sg doing camps chalet gg out and watching movies ! hahas

hi!!! i just wanted to ask when our class tee is going to be done? it has been a rather long time. i dont think that we are going to wear it as a class. after CT4 i think we all can go out for an outing or sth so we can wear the class tee. so um debbie ang gena, sorry to bother but please try to get the tee done asap:D thanks:D

Dear 1E
I would like you to take some time to read this...
You all have a special place in my heart, and if I had all the time in the world, I would want to know each of you more personally. What I can do is to reach out and also show you that I am open to listen. Your journals are my way of opening that channel where you can spill your inner thoughts and feelings. Some use it, some would rather not. I am ok with that. I also am open if you would just like to talk with me.
However, the truth is I don't have all the time in the world. And in fact, I'm maximizing my time so much that I hardly have time to eat or sleep or see my own friends or my family or colin for that matter. And here I am, expected by all your parents, to watch your every action and report to them about it. Here I am, responsible for your character and your actions. Here I am, feeling sad that though I have done what was within my limitations to be a good form teacher, I still failed.
I know you all may not be at that level of maturity to think for others other than yourself. But it disturbs me to know that some of you don't care about the education you are receiving, some of you don't care there are people less fortunate than you that might need your help, some of you can't be bothered to look within and see what is ugly and change. Some of you stubbornly think that this is how you were born and this is you, that you can never change. Some of you don't even think there is anything wrong with not being responsible for the choices you make, small ones like obeying instructions, remembering your homework, doing the homework well, taking pride in your name and all the work that comes with it.
Some of you are so short-sighted that you only see how strict your parents are, how much high expectations teachers and parents have of you, how stressed you are, how poor you are and how much you think you suffer compared to your friends. But you fail to see beyond what all these entail. They are ways people get you to be motivated to study, to acheive your maximum potential. These entail a bright future for you, a realm of great possibilities. But you start closing the door to all these opportunities by letting small responsibilities slip away now. If you cannot handle small responsibilities, you will not be able to handle large ones.
I'm sure you have heard me harp on attitude and character. Even through the events that have happened recently, what I get back are 2 reflections, and they are not even from the people involved directly. I am compelled to think, do they really understand the severity of the situation or are they just afraid of the punishment? So if the punishment is not severe this time, would you be complacent and not take this as a lesson learnt, a time to look at yourself and see how much your attitude and character have decayed?
Saying this, this message is not targeted at anyone in particular, but this is going out to the whole class. I may never be influential enough to make you understand what I am trying to say or change your way of thinking and acting. However, this is my feeble attempt to knock some sense into you, to hope and pray that somewhere within you, you realise what I am saying and when you grow up, you will realise character is more important than grades or than being rich or getting everything you could ever want. A good character will bring you joy because people around you will draw cheer from you.

hey..i just wanted to talk about the class outing...well i am deceiding to go to kallang park i think so....that was what ashley said...well that place is cool and we can bowl,ice scate and many other things .... so i was just wondering of which day to fix it on...and everybody must be freee...i am thinking next week.... well too packed this week...if someone can contact mc chen..please do and keep her updated.we could go in the morning i guess...like 12 or something so that we can spend more time together...i will call it our 1st class outing...um i need to know i you all are free. and if you want to change anything please keep me updated..either fb or class blog...so i need answers and fast...i will contact kavitha to check if the place is alrite to go...thanks..:Dok i think thats about it..bye!!!:D
